Little more advanced AVR-GCC demo project
This demo is a slightly more enhanced variant of the simple
avr-libc demo project. (See your copy of the avr-libc documentation,
or look
at it in CVSweb.)
The enhancements over the simple demo are:
- UART communication: the brightness of the LED can be
controlled via RS-232 commands, and the current setting
will be reported as well.
- Alternatively, the brightness of the LED can be controlled
using two pushbuttons to increase or decrease the PWM value,
or from an ADC input, using a standard voltage divider.
- When in serial control mode, a watchdog reset can be
triggered, to demonstrate the watchdog.
- The current PWM value will be written to an EEPROM cell,
based on a timeout. After a reset, this value will be used
as the initial PWM value.
